The day was Thursday, December 18, 2025 and the year that the Daily Graphic and by extension, the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL), turned 75 years.
Two journalists and editors, Edmund Smith-Asante (Regional/Supplements) and Timothy Koku Gobah (sub-editor), who had paid their dues to GCGL, bowed out of active service with the nation Ghana's premier brand, the Daily Graphic, after serving for 12 years and over two decades respectively, in various capacities.
The Editorial Department held a send-off for the stalwarts of the inky fraternity and said ayekoo to them for serving the Graphic brand to the end.
Timo and I are very grateful to the Editorial Team for pulling this off and we ask for God's blessings for everyone who contributed to making the event a memorable one.
