Last Sunday's (July 26, 2026) experience at the Christ Temple East auditorium of the church at Teshie in Accra was climaxed by special guest artistes Team Eternity. When they mounted the stage the audience literally went ecstatic.

The programme was interspersed with a solo and some dance acts from the church's dramatic arts department.

There was also an interesting quiz session which required members of the audience to answer some trivia about the upcoming Greater Works Conference.

ICGC Night of Choirs 2026 (Hymnal, Accra South & Accra West)

After the Hymnal Choir took their turn to minister to the audience came in the official ICGC National Reggae Choir, the Accra South District Choir, hoisting the national as well as ICGC flags, instantly making the entire auditorium go irie.

They got a large number of the attendees jumping, lifting up their hands in the air and singing along with their Jah Rastafari vibes that included some popular old local as well as foreign tunes. 

With the atmosphere charged the Accra West District Choir was ushered in after the visit to the Caribbean. From their repertoire they released soulful contemporary tunes that still got patrons dancing last Sunday during the ICGC's annual Night of Choirs.

The four District Choirs of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), comprising Accra East, Accra North, Accra South and Accra West in that order, gave good account of themselves last Sunday during the church's annual Night of Choirs by serving various hot and titillating genres of music.

The Gen zees (New Breed Choir) were the John the Baptists before the district choirs took over the night.

Although it has been named the Night of Choirs among the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) fraternity, last Sunday's (July 26, 2026) experience at the Christ Temple East auditorium of the church at Teshie in Accra could be christened in other ways.

It could as well be called a Night of Worship and Praise or a Night of Yellow Balloons, because both were in plenty supply at the 4-hr annual festival of music put together by the ICGC to precede the Greater Works Conference.

And what a night it was! The Mass Praise & Worship Team of the conference put everyone in the mood of adoration, while the four District Choirs - Accra East, Accra North, Accra South and Accra West gave good accounts of themselves dishing out various genres of music.

The Gen zees (New Breed Choir) set the tone and gave an indication of what to expect and the Hymnal Mass Choir as well as the dramatic arts department of the church and a soloist also spiced up the evening.

However, the programme got to its climax as special guest artistes Team Eternity mounted the stage and the audience went ecstatic.

The emcees for the night, popular actor Adjetey Anang aka Pusher and his counterpart Bernice steered the event beautifully.
