After the late retired broadcaster Julius Holdbrook Smith was laid to rest at the Lashibi Funeral Home Garden of Peace Cemetery in Accra on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, a few family members, sympathisers and friends got together to do some catching up while remembering the departed before heading for their various destinations.

Retired broadcaster with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) and a presenter on Uniiq Fm, Julius Holdbrook Smith, who signed on and off radio with the name Brother JS, was called to glory on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

The late Julius was laid to rest at the Lashibi Funeral Home Garden of Peace Cemetery in Accra.

Born on September 16, 1950 to DCOP (Retd) Joseph Gabriel Smith and Gladys Dokua Smith, both of blessed memory, Julius Holdbrook Smith affectionately called 'Jaywey' and 'July' by his siblings and Uncle Julius by his nephews and nieces, was called to his maker on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

A retired broadcaster with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) and a presenter on Uniiq Fm, the funeral service for the late Julius which was held at the Lashibi Funeral Home in Accra was attended by family members, friends, colleagues and sympathisers.

The ICGC's much-awaited Greater Works 2026 conference got off to a blistering start yesterday, August 3, with a mammoth attendance.

Ps Mensa Otabil the General Overseer of the church, led congregants to officially end the proclaimed 40-day fast dubbed 40 Days of Power and partake in the Lord's supper after he had delivered a powerful sermon on the Kingdom of God.

Before then the large gathering were taken through a joyous praise and worship time, while the dramatic arts did a dance and guest artistes on the bill, Dunsin Oyekan and Ps Nathaniel Bassey separately led the crowd in intense worship.
