Born on February 22, 1936 to Mr John Hammond and Madam Aku Bulley, both of blessed memory, Lt Col (retd) Eddie Kwei Hammond went the way of all mortals on Tuesday, July 25, 2026 at the age of 90.
He was sent off by family, church members, colleagues and friends at the Garrison Methodist and Presbyterian Church, Burma Camp, Accra, on Friday, September 4, 2026.
May the soul of the late Lt Col Hammond who was the father of Editor of The Mirror, Doreen Naa Amakai Hammond and siblings Jane, Anita, Susan, rest in perfect peace.
