The late father of the Executive Chairman of the Jospong Group of Companies, Dr Joseph Siaw Agyepong and his siblings, Opanin Samuel Kwame Agyepong, 98, was last Saturday, September 10, 2022, seen off to the land of his ancestors at a very elaborate funeral.

A funeral only fit for kings, royals and Presidents where culture met with a Christian burial  service, was held at the forecourt of the State House in Accra to see off a man who had lived a full life and accomplished so much.

Present were almost everyone who mattered in the land, including former Presidents John Agyekum Kufuor and John Dramani Mahama, Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia, the First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, ministers, Members of Parliament, members of the clergy and a host of very important personalities.

The venue was a sea of white and black of people clad in fabric specially chosen for the funeral, canopies, décor and agog with the sound of drums, music and the firing of muskets by delegations from the northern part of the country.

Indeed it was a funeral of funerals that attracted thousands of people. #Edmages captured some memorable images. #canonshots #funeral #jospong #zoomlion #opaninsamuelkwameagyepong
