As my Diamond Jubilee approached I really did not have any lofty plans on how I was going to celebrate the milestone on the D-Day apart from maybe taking the family out for lunch after church on Saturday, December 14, the day yours truly was born.
However, God had His own plans for me. Not only did an uncle who heard of the upcoming birthday deliver on his promise to take myself and family on a lunch date on the day, members of the ICGC Holy Ghost Temple Contemporary Choir, which I belong to, also had a surprise waiting for me after church.
